We're Hiring | SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR) Consultant / Lead

We are looking for an experienced SAP CAR Consultant / SAP CAR Technical‑Functional Lead to join our growing Retail & Services transformation programs.

Role Overview:

The role focuses on supporting, optimizing, and leading SAP CAR implementations, working across key components such as POS Inbound Processing, Unified Demand Forecast (UDF), Inventory Visibility, and Promotion Management for Retail (PMR). You will work closely with business and technical teams to deliver high‑impact retail solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead / participate in SAP CAR implementations – requirements, fit‑gap, design, configuration & testing
• Configure and support SAP CAR modules:
• POS DTA & POS Inbound Processing
• OAA (Omnichannel Article Availability & Sourcing)
• UDF (Unified Demand Forecast)
• PMR (Promotion Management for Retail)
• Inventory Visibility (IV)
• Design and optimize integrations between SAP CAR, ECC / S4HANA, and POS / OMS systems
• Work with SLT, SDI, CPI / PI‑PO, BODS for real‑time & batch integrations
• Provide L2/L3 support, issue analysis, RCA, data reconciliation & performance tuning
• For Lead roles: drive end‑to‑end SAP CAR delivery, mentor teams, and manage project tracking & reporting

Required Skills:

• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP CAR (POS DTA or OAA preferred)
• Good understanding of SAP Retail processes – pricing, promotions, inventory, sales audit
• Experience with large‑scale retail transaction data
• Technical exposure to HANA modeling, SQL scripting & ABAP debugging
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills

Good to Have

• SAP S/4HANA Retail experience
• SAP CAR Analytics / Fiori exposure
• Cloud exposure (Azure / AWS for SAP)
• Retail or SAP certifications
