SAP Crystal Reports Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex reports and dashboards using SAP Crystal Reports.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements.
• Create and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to retrieve data efficiently.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data in reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues and bugs.
• Collaborate with BI teams, database administrators, and developers to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Maintain documentation for report design, specifications, and processes.
• Support report deployment, scheduling, and distribution.
• Train end-users and provide ongoing support for reporting tools.
• Stay updated with SAP Crystal Reports features and best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as an SAP Crystal Reports Developer or in a similar reporting role.
• Strong proficiency in SAP Crystal Reports and report design best practices.
• Solid SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries and joins.
• Experience working with various databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2.
• Understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Desirable Skills and Certifications:

• Experience with SAP BusinessObjects platform and integration.
• Familiarity with other BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SAP BW.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (VBScript, JavaScript) for report customization.
• SAP Crystal Reports certification is a plus.
• Ability to work in Agile or Scrum environments.
