SAP CPI Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Integration Design & Implementation:
• Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
• Configure and customize CPI integration flows to connect various cloud and on-premise applications.
• SAP Integration:
• Develop integration scenarios for SAP-to-SAP, SAP-to-third-party, and cloud-to-on-premise systems using CPI.
• Utilize technologies like SOAP, REST, IDOC, OData, and SFTP.
• Data Transformation:
• Implement data transformation using XSLT, Groovy scripting, and mapping techniques to ensure proper data exchange between systems.
• Interface Monitoring & Management:
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in integration scenarios to ensure smooth data flow between systems.
• Implement proper error handling and alerting mechanisms.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders:
• Work closely with functional teams, business analysts, and project managers to gather integration requirements.
• Deliver effective solutions that meet business needs.
• Testing and Quality Assurance:
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for integration scenarios to ensure quality deliverables.
• Documentation:
• Document integration solutions, including design, configuration details, troubleshooting procedures, and operational instructions.
• Cloud Platform Services:
• Utilize SAP Cloud Platform services and tools for integration such as SAP Integration Suite, SAP API Management, SAP Cloud Integration, and other relevant technologies.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP CPI features, best practices, and integration trends to enhance integration processes and improve team efficiency.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) with strong knowledge of integration concepts and best practices.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing integration flows in CPI for connecting SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Strong experience with integration technologies such as SOAP, REST, OData, IDOCs, SFTP, FTP, API management, and more.
• Experience in integrating SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, and other SAP cloud applications.
• Understanding of integration with third-party applications and cloud solutions.

Skills

• Strong technical proficiency in SAP CPI, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP API Management.
• Experience with Groovy scripting, XSLT, and message mapping.
• Ability to troubleshoot integration issues and perform debugging in CPI environments.
• Knowledge of SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration) is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform tools and services, including API management, SAP Data Intelligence, and SAP Event Mesh.
• Strong understanding of web services, REST APIs, and other integration patterns.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices in integration development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with SAP Data Intelligence and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration testing frameworks.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies and integration approaches.
