SAP BW4HANA

Responsibilities:

• SAP BW/4HANA Expertise: Apply excellent technical know-how and hands-on experience in SAP BW/4HANA, demonstrating a strong balance of experience in modeling, data extraction, and reporting.
• Business Warehouse Modeling: Design and implement standard and custom data models within SAP BW/4HANA and BW on HANA, utilizing various extractors (ODP & Non-ODP).
• Data Extraction: Possess expertise in both SAP and non-SAP data extraction, including understanding the functional aspects of source systems for data integration.
• End-to-End BW/4HANA Development: Lead end-to-end development in SAP BW/4HANA modeling, including the use of ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS views, Transformations, and BEx Queries.
• Native HANA & Mixed Scenarios: Leverage expertise in Native HANA modeling, exposing BW models as HANA views, and working with mixed scenarios and HANA Analysis processes.
• Performance Optimization & LSA++: Apply knowledge of the LSA++ standard methodology and performance optimization concepts, including handling complex transformations using ABAP.
• BEx Query Design & Security: Work proficiently with BEx Query Designer, utilize Customer Exit Variables, and understand Roles & Authorization concepts.
• ABAP & SQL Development: Possess strong experience in ABAP (BW relevant) and SQL, including writing AMDP Scripts, Start/End/Exit/Expert/Field Routines, and BADIs, with good debugging skills for ABAP code.
• Functional Module Knowledge: Apply functional knowledge of various SAP modules such as PS, SD, MM, FICO, PS, PM, REFX, etc., to understand business processes for data warehousing.
• Requirements Mapping: Translate complex business requirements into robust technical architecture designs and data models within the SAP BW/4HANA environment.
• Support & Administration: Work on SAP BW Support Projects, demonstrating knowledge of administration tasks such as monitoring Process Chains and troubleshooting load failures.
• Migration/Upgrade Projects: Contribute to SAP BI migration/upgrade Projects, applying relevant technical skills.

Required Skills:

• Excellent technical know-how and hands-on experience in SAP BW/4HANA.
• Strong balance of experience in SAP BW/4HANA/BW on HANA Modeling, Data extraction, and reporting.
• Hands-on Experience on Business Warehouse Modeling: Standard and custom data models & Extractors (ODP & Non ODP).
• Expertise in SAP and non-SAP extraction and functional aspects.
• End-to-end development experience in SAP BW/4HANA Modelling using ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS views, Transformations, BEx Queries and Native HANA & exposing BW models as HANA views, mixed scenarios, HANA Analysis process.
• Aware of LSA ++ standard methodology and performance optimization concepts, handling complex transformations using ABAP.
• Experience in BEx Query Designer, Customer Exits Variables, Roles & Authorization.
• Experience in ABAP (BW relevant) and SQL.
• Proficiency in AMDP Scripts, Start/End/Exit/Expert/Field Routines, and BADIs, with good debugging skills for ABAP Code.
• Functional knowledge of other SAP modules (PS, SD, MM, FICO, PS, PM, REFX etc).
• Experience in mapping business requirements to the technical architecture design and data model.
• Experience in SAP BW Support Projects and knowledge of Administration (Monitoring Process Chains, troubleshooting load failures).
• Experience in SAP BI migration/upgrade Projects.

• Knowledge of any other Reporting tools.
