SAP BW security professionals

Job Description:

• Role Overview: Maintain, administer, and enhance SAP BW security framework to ensure secure and efficient access management across the organization. Collaborate with project teams and business stakeholders to implement best-in-class security practices.
• Security Administration: Manage SAP BW roles, authorizations, user profiles, working folders, and user groups in line with organizational policies.
• Requirement Analysis: Analyze security requirements for new projects and enhancements, proposing secure and compliant solutions.
• Security Concept Design: Design and implement BW security concepts, ensuring access controls are aligned with user roles and responsibilities.
• Troubleshooting & Incident Management: Resolve user access issues and security-related incidents promptly and effectively.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Work with project teams and business stakeholders to understand security impacts of new developments. Document BW security framework, processes, and guidelines.
• Security Reviews & Audits: Conduct regular reviews and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on SAP security best practices and recommend enhancements to strengthen the security framework.
• Training & Mentoring: Provide guidance and training to users on BW security policies and mentor junior engineers.
• Project Participation: Contribute to security-related initiatives and projects.

Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: 6+ years of SAP BW experience with deep knowledge of security, access controls, and backup/recovery practices.
• Skills: SAP BW, SAP Security, SAP GRC Access Control, Roles & Authorizations, User Profiles, Security Audits, Security Incident Management, Compliance, Data Privacy, Security Framework Documentation, Mentoring.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Certifications: SAP Security Administration, SAP GRC Access Control (preferred).
