SAP Build Solution Architect – S/4HANA Public Cloud

Application Design & Architecture

• Design SAP Build-based applications to extend S/4HANA Public Cloud using SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Process Automation, and SAP Build Work Zone.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and SAP consultants to analyze extension needs not met via standard configuration.

• Architect and oversee development of custom business apps, process automations (workflow approvals, task flows), and integrations using SAP Integration Suite.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to SAP Clean Core principles, using side-by-side extensibility via BTP instead of in-app custom code.

• Guide selection and design of Key-User Extensibility, Developer Extensibility, or BTP Extensions.

• Conduct architecture reviews and enforce public cloud constraints.

• Define and document architecture blueprints and solution roadmaps.

Lifecycle & Operations

• Govern BTP application deployment, monitoring, scaling, and support.

• Ensure security, performance, and lifecycle management of custom apps.

• Assist in DevOps and CI/CD pipeline adoption for SAP BTP applications.

• Work with SAP and third-party APIs to extend or integrate applications.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and mentor development teams across global delivery models.

• Provide guidance on application design, best practices, and extension strategies.
