SAP Archiving Expert - SOC

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Archiving Expert - SOC to design and implement robust SAP archiving solutions while ensuring strict security and compliance. You will be responsible for defining SAP ILM and data archiving strategies for various SAP landscapes, ensuring they align with regulatory frameworks like GDPR and SOC. This role requires deep technical expertise in SAP archiving tools and a collaborative approach to integrate with SOC and eSOC teams to protect sensitive data.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage SAP Archiving and ILM strategies to optimize system performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and execute data archiving processes for SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and other SAP landscapes.
• Define and implement data retention, residence time, and legal hold policies in accordance with GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.
• Drive SAP system decommissioning projects, ensuring secure data access and compliance.
• Implement SOC and eSOC compliance strategies for SAP environments.
• Work closely with Security Operations Center (SOC) and Enhanced Security Operations Center (eSOC) teams to monitor and respond to security threats.
• Define security policies for SAP archived data, including encryption, access controls, and logging mechanisms.
• Integrate SAP archiving solutions with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools for enhanced monitoring.
• Troubleshoot and resolve archiving-related performance issues and system bottlenecks.

Skills Required:

• Deep expertise in SAP ILM, GDPR, SOC, eSOC, and data protection laws.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ILM, ADK (Archive Development Kit), SARA, and ArchiveLink.
• Strong knowledge of SOC and eSOC frameworks, including compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and SOC 2.
• Experience working with Security Operations Centers and SIEM solutions.
• Understanding of SAP Basis, HANA DB, and performance tuning for archiving solutions.
• Experience in automating SAP ILM processes using scripting or third-party tools.
• Strong expertise in storage and content management solutions (e.g., OpenText, AWS S3).
• Experience with SAP system decommissioning and legacy system retirement strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• SAP certifications in ILM, Security, or Basis are a plus.
• Experience with machine learning and AI-driven security analytics for eSOC environments is a plus.

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
