SAP ABAP Developer - Fiori / Gateway Module

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying and resolving application issues
• Develop technical specifications and convert business requirements into high-quality SAP ABAP solutions
• Work on SAP Fiori and Gateway development, ensuring smooth system integration
• Perform coding, debugging, unit/system/integration testing, and performance tuning
• Conduct performance optimization and ensure system scalability, availability, and archiving as per SLA
• Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and business analysts to deliver efficient SAP solutions
• Provide on-call operational support and manage system changes effectively
• Mentor and coach junior developers, ensuring knowledge-sharing and adoption of best practices
• Follow Agile methodologies and manage tasks using the ServiceNow ticketing system

Educational Qualifications:

• BE/BTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP ABAP development
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in SAP Fiori development (mandatory)

Required Skills:

• Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills in SAP ABAP
• Hands-on experience in SAP Gateway development and system integration
• Strong communication, analytical, and technical documentation skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and deliverables
• Experience working in Agile environments and using ServiceNow for support

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the Retail industry
• Familiarity with SAP HCP or Java development
