SAP ABAP Consultant RAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
• Build custom applications and extensions using the Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
• Develop and consume OData services, CDS Views, and AMDP for high-performance solutions.
• Perform detailed code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and SAP standards.
• Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Provide support for issue resolution, performance tuning, and system optimization.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical solutioning during project delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest innovations in SAP S/4HANA and ABAP programming.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 811 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with at least 2 end-to-end S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong hands-on experience with RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model).
• Proficiency in ABAP Objects, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 integration is a strong advantage.
• Deep understanding of performance optimization and modern ABAP design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
