SAP ABAP

Teamware Solutions is seeking a proficient SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop, and maintain custom solutions and enhancements within our SAP landscapes. You'll be instrumental in extending SAP functionalities, building reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements (RICEFW) to meet specific business requirements and integrate with other systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements (RICEFW), and forms.
• Work with various SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI, PP) to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain ABAP Workbench objects, including data dictionary objects, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, and enhancements.
• Create and optimize ABAP programs for performance and scalability, ensuring adherence to coding best practices.
• Develop and troubleshoot interfaces using technologies like ALE/IDoc, RFC, and BAPI.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and provide support for user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot and debug complex ABAP programs and system issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, business users, and Basis teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer.

Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience in ABAP programming for various RICEFW objects.
• Proficiency in ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, internal tables, modularization techniques.
• Experience with ABAP Objects (Object-Oriented ABAP).
• Solid understanding of ALE/IDoc, BAPI, RFC, and User Exits/BADIs for integrations and enhancements.
• Ability to debug complex ABAP programs and analyze performance using tools like SQL Trace, Runtime Analysis.
• Familiarity with at least one core SAP module (e.g., SD, MM, FI).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ABAP on HANA (AMDP, CDS Views, ADT - ABAP Development Tools).
• Knowledge of Fiori/UI5 development and OData services.
• Experience with SAP workflow.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA architecture and development best practices.
• SAP ABAP certification.
