Key Responsibilities:
Performance Testing Strategy:
Assist in developing and implementing performance and load testing plans, scenarios, and scripts for Salesforce applications.
Execute performance and load tests, analyze results, and identify potential performance issues before deployment to production.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with Salesforce development teams to understand application changes and potential performance concerns when creating test scenarios.
Communicate and assist in resolving performance issues observed during testing.
Work with IT stakeholders to align testing objectives with overall business goals.
Integration with CI/CD Pipelines:
Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines to establish continuous build and test cycles.
Performance Testing Best Practices:
Support the establishment of high-quality performance test engineering principles, strategies, and best practices for Salesforce applications.
Provide input on process and procedure improvements to mitigate risks and enhance performance engineering processes and standards.
Mentorship:
Assist in mentoring QA staff on performance testing best practices within Salesforce environments.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years of experience in Performance Engineering, specifically with Salesforce applications.
Performance Testing Tools: Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as Loadrunner, Neoload, or tools specific to Salesforce performance testing.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Test Results Interpretation: Ability to interpret test results and identify potential performance issues.
Salesforce Architecture Knowledge: Architectural knowledge focused on Salesforce environments, including mid-tier services and databases.
Development Methodologies: Proficiency in understanding testing activities and approaches across different development methodologies (Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall).
Total Experience: 4-6 years of total experience.
Preferred Skills:
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
