Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Mobile Studio.
• Create and manage complex marketing automation workflows and customer journeys.
• Write and optimize AMPscript, SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript), and SQL queries for dynamic content and data manipulation.
• Integrate Marketing Cloud with other Salesforce products and external systems via APIs.
• Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor campaign performance and troubleshoot issues related to data and deliverability.
• Ensure data security and compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
• Document development processes, best practices, and system configurations.
• Stay updated on Salesforce Marketing Cloud updates, features, and best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development and implementation.
• Proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, and data extensions.
• Experience with Marketing Cloud APIs and integrations.
• Strong understanding of marketing automation and digital marketing concepts.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud Connect.
• Knowledge of email marketing standards and deliverability best practices.
• Ability to work in Agile environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Desirable Skills:

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification.
• Experience with other Salesforce Marketing products (Pardot, Sales Cloud).
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and responsive email design.
• Understanding of data privacy laws and marketing compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
