Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Solution Architecture & Design: Understand client business use cases and technical requirements thoroughly, then translate them into elegant and effective technical designs for Salesforce Marketing Cloud web/backend applications.
  • Technical Leadership: Guide project teams by mapping design decisions to requirements and effectively translating these into actionable plans for developers.
  • Documentation: Write and review comprehensive design documents explaining the overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for development teams.
  • End-to-End Project Involvement: Contribute to end-to-end project delivery in a lead or Senior Developer capacity, demonstrating a holistic understanding of project phases.
  • Third-Party Integration: Understand and apply knowledge of various third-party integration scenarios within Salesforce Marketing Cloud projects.
  • Issue Resolution & Root Cause Analysis: Resolve issues raised during code/review processes through exhaustive systematic analysis of the root cause, providing justifications for decisions taken.
  • Best Practices: Ensure the developed solutions adhere to best practices for scalability, performance, and security within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in building Salesforce Marketing Cloud web/backend applications.
  • Ability to convert client business use cases and technical requirements into sound technical designs.
  • Skill in mapping design decisions to requirements and translating them for developers.
  • Capability to write and review design documents outlining architecture, framework, and high-level design.
  • Understanding of third-party integration scenarios and their application in projects.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to resolve issues through systematic root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, CloudPages, etc.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with clients and development teams.
