Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Communication:
- Facilitate discussions between Product Managers and developers, ensuring clear communication of product requirements and technical constraints.
- Work closely with the CRM Product Anchors and Product Managers to drive continuous technical improvements in the Salesforce Core Sales & Service Cloud product.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead other developers in reducing complexity and utilizing out-of-the-box Salesforce capabilities wherever possible to streamline development.
- Mentor and support junior developers through all stages of delivery, providing hands-on support as needed.
- Solution Delivery:
- Deliver engineering excellence by applying best practices and quality standards in an iterative fashion, aligned with the product vision and meeting customer needs.
- Understand and execute solutions requested by Product Managers, clarifying acceptance criteria and suggesting options while minimizing customizations.
- Technical Expertise:
- Work with the product team to define when customization is necessary or when out-of-the-box solutions will suffice.
- Deliver industry-leading solutions that maximize the value and productivity for commercial customers based on the Salesforce platform.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate with other CRM product teams to deliver integrated solutions and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Ensure end-to-end testing of solutions using Salesforce and other industry tools, ensuring the highest quality deliverables.
- Documentation & Support:
- Contribute to the documentation for architecture, training materials, release notes, and deployment processes.
- Provide user support and deployment support as needed.
Skills & Experience:
- Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud expertise with a deep understanding of CRM functionalities and product delivery.
- Strong leadership and mentoring experience with the ability to guide junior developers.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Product Managers and cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in evaluating when custom solutions are required versus leveraging Salesforce's out-of-the-box features.
- Experience in delivering quality solutions iteratively, adhering to best practices and agile methodologies.
- Experience in end-to-end testing, solution deployment, and user support.
