Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Salesforce Administration: Manage daily operations of the Salesforce platform, including user account management, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings.
  • Customization & Configuration: Customize Salesforce functionality using Point-and-Click tools (e.g., Process Builder, Flow, Validation Rules, Formula Fields) and Apex code where necessary to meet business requirements.
  • Data Management: Ensure data quality by performing regular data maintenance tasks (e.g., data imports, exports, deduplication, and validation). Manage and enforce data standards within the Salesforce platform.
  • User Support & Training: Provide support for end-users by resolving technical issues, answering user queries, and delivering training sessions to help users get the most out of Salesforce.
  • Reports & Dashboards: Create customized reports and dashboards to provide insights and analytics that support decision-making across the organization.
  • Automation & Workflow: Automate business processes using Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, Apex, and Salesforce Automation Tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Integration Management: Integrate Salesforce with other systems (e.g., ERP, marketing automation, external APIs) to ensure seamless data flow and enhance business processes.
  • Security & Compliance: Configure and manage Role Hierarchy, Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules to ensure the security of data and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Release & Change Management: Work with stakeholders to plan, test, and deploy changes or new features in Salesforce using Change Sets, Sandboxes, and Deployment Tools.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate Salesforce's capabilities to improve its effectiveness and efficiency. Research new features, functionalities, and integrations to stay ahead of organizational needs.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce functionality, integration, or user errors. Collaborate with Salesforce support for more advanced issues.
  • Maintain Documentation: Document system configurations, processes, and solutions. Maintain a knowledge base for user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2-5 years of experience with Salesforce administration or development.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.) and Salesforce tools like Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Process Builder, Flow, Reports and Dashboards.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) certification is required. Additional certifications (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Advanced Administrator) are highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce configuration (e.g., creating custom objects, workflows, validation rules, reports).
  • Experience with Apex programming, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components for custom solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in Salesforce data import/export tools like Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, and knowledge of SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug Salesforce issues, both at the user interface and system level.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security (roles, profiles, sharing rules, permission sets).
  • Salesforce Integration experience with tools such as MuleSoft, Jitterbit, Dell Boomi, or APIs for connecting with external systems is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology is preferred.
