Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Target Achievement
- Achieve assigned monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets (primary and secondary).
- Drive sales through retail visits, beat plans, and market coverage.
- Ensure daily order booking and follow up for billing and delivery.
2. Retailer & Distributor Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
- Collect orders, resolve complaints, and ensure timely collections and payments.
- Coordinate with distributors for stock availability and claim processing.
3. Market Coverage & Execution
- Cover retail outlets as per beat plan and expand retail footprint.
- Ensure visibility, merchandising, and display of products as per company guidelines.
- Execute trade schemes, promotions, and launches effectively at ground level.
4. Competitor & Market Intelligence
- Track and report competitor pricing, schemes, and market activities.
- Share feedback on product performance, market trends, and consumer preferences.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Submit daily/weekly sales reports, market feedback, and stock updates.
- Maintain records of retailer contacts, call cycles, and order details.
- Use sales apps or CRM tools for data entry (if applicable).
Qualifications
Essential:
- Graduate in any discipline (BBA, B.Com preferred)
- 1–4 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG, Pharma, or Consumer Goods
Desirable:
- Proficiency in local language(s)
- Basic computer skills and mobile app usage
- Two-wheeler with a valid driving license (for field roles)
