Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Team Management:
  • Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with company sales goals.
  • Set clear team and individual sales targets and monitor performance.
  • Provide coaching, training, and mentoring to team members, helping them reach their potential.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one and team meetings to review performance, share feedback, and provide motivation.
  • Foster a positive, competitive, and collaborative team culture.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to achieve business targets and objectives.
  • Oversee the implementation of the sales plan and ensure targets are met within specified timelines.
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer support, and other departments to drive sales initiatives.
  • Continuously evaluate and adjust sales strategies based on market conditions and team performance.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities and cross-sell/up-sell to existing clients.
  • Resolve any client concerns or issues to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Sales Reporting & Analysis:
  • Monitor and analyze team performance through detailed sales reports and KPIs.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management.
  • Use data and analytics to improve team performance and sales processes.
  • Business Development:
  • Identify potential markets and expand the company's footprint by acquiring new clients.
  • Engage in high-level negotiations and close large deals with major clients.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking meetings to build relationships and generate leads.
  • Team Development & Performance Management:
  • Set performance expectations and regularly review team and individual goals.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback.
  • Identify and address any training or development needs within the team.
  • Customer Feedback & Market Trends:
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to ensure continuous improvement in sales processes and product offerings.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to remain competitive in the market.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in a sales management role, ideally 3-5 years, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Experience leading and managing a sales team.
  • B2B/B2C sales experience depending on the company profile.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze sales data and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
