Job Description
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing and expanding
- existing institutional client accounts.
- Generate and qualify leads, deliver compelling sales presentations, and ensure seamless
- end-to-end deal closures.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships through regular engagement, high
- service standards, and a deep understanding of client needs.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure aligned
- communication, timely resolutions, and smooth execution.
- Leverage internal collaboration and external networks to support client acquisition,
- retention, and business growth.
- Drive sales across institutional, project-based, and corporate segments by providing
- strategic, solution-driven offerings tailored to client requirements.
- Conduct timely follow-ups with current clients and continuously identify new prospects to
- strengthen the sales pipeline.
- Deliver on acquisition and revenue goals by focusing on sustained client engagement and strategic account development.
Experience/ Candidate Profile:
- 4-6 years of proven experience in institutional, corporate, or project-based sales within the
- different industries with applications of steel.
- Experience in steel sales to the OEM sector in the automotive/fabrication industries.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related technical/commercial discipline.
- Post-graduate qualification preferred; an MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Operations will be
- an added advantage.
- Prior exposure to client-facing roles with a strong track record of meeting sales targets will be highly valued.
SKILLS REQUIRED :
- Solid technical knowledge of steel products, grades, specifications, and applications across
- industries will be a plus point. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to understand client needs and
- offer tailored solutions.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and sustain high-
- value relationships.
- Ability to work independently in a field sales environment while coordinating effectively
- with cross-functional teams.
- High degree of adaptability and readiness to travel across assigned regions to support sales
- objectives
