Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement:
  • Proactively seek information about customers' business to understand existing/new projects for tendering.
  • Garner market intelligence on new projects at initial stages and closely monitor developments (appointments of façade consultants, contractors, key contacts, etc.).
  • Actively engage with façade consultants to get Sika FFI solutions specified in the BOQ/Make list.
  • Business Development:
  • Develop strong business relations with façade contractors for introducing and implementing Sika FFI solutions (Structural sealants, Weather sealants, and other accessory products).
  • Organize technical activities for the validation of Sika FFI solutions.
  • Identify key areas of production constraints and provide support and offer appropriate solutions in consultation with the Business Development Manager and Technical Service.
  • Sales & Commercial Efforts:
  • Manage commercial efforts at targeted geography in consultation with the Business Development Manager.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price in line with supply and demand, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Establish periodic forecasts for assigned accounts and provide these forecasts to the supply chain to manage inventory and meet customers' delivery schedules.
  • Establish strong business relationships with key decision-makers and ensure the timely collection of account receivables in the assigned customer base.
  • Marketing and Relationship Management:
  • Conduct marketing events like Key Contractors Engagement, CPWD meetings, key façade consultants, etc.

Key Skills Required:

  • 8-10 years of experience in Sales and Business Development roles, preferably in channel sales (B2C) and direct sales (B2B) in the Construction/Building material industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Façade industry is preferred.
  • In-depth familiarity with Polymers, Coatings, Elastomers industry knowledge is preferred.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Ability to build and leverage networks effectively.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Polymers, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Knowledge/Experience:
  • 8-10 years of experience in Sales and Business Development roles, preferably in channel sales (B2C) and direct sales (B2B) in the Construction/Building material industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Façade industry is preferred.
