Job Description:

  • Business Development: Identify prospective customers and business opportunities, assess customer needs, and promote the company's freight forwarding services.
  • Customer Acquisition & Retention: Develop a new customer base while retaining existing clientele, ensuring consistent revenue growth.
  • Special Container Volumes: Focus on development of special container volumes, primarily in the Ahmedabad region, and provide competitive rates to clients across sectors and ports.
  • Proposal Follow-up & Booking Conversion: Follow up with clients on proposals and quotes, converting inquiries into firm bookings.
  • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed commercial targets, including volume and revenue goals.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and submit them to Heads of Departments (HODs).
  • Client Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with clients, manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives, and provide post-sales support.
  • Execution of Sales Strategies: Consistently execute sales strategies across the assigned zone to drive business growth.
