Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide sales team with high-quality leads.
- Cold call (generate new suspects and prospects) from company-provided lists and/or other sources.
- Make 80 to 100 dials per day.
- Have 12 to 15 conversations with prospective clients per day.
- Educate prospective companies about the benefits of our technology solutions and services.
- Schedule first-time appointments and follow-up appointments with existing prospects.
- Set 3 to 5 solid qualified appointments per week, consistently every week.
- Call existing prospects with regular follow-up to check if an appointment for a demonstration can be scheduled.
- Complete a survey and collect business intelligence on each call and enter details into the CRM database.
- Assist the leadership team with special projects and other marketing functions as directed.
Required Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to understand and communicate ideas clearly.
- Attention to detail with fast and accurate data entry into prospect database while engaging with clients.
- Technically inclined, computer savvy, and quick learner.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Personable with ability to build rapport during first phone call to allow future follow-ups even if not initially interested.
- Ability to get through Gate-Keepers and reach C-level executives.
- Persistent 'never-give-up' attitude with the ability to identify new sales opportunities and follow up timely.
- Ability to withstand rejection.
- Strong listening skills and ability to properly acknowledge what is being said.
- Basic understanding of IT and Retail industries and the challenges clients face.
- Understanding of our technology offerings.
- High level of responsibility and personal ethics.
- Ability to work effectively with various personality types.
