Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the translation and localization market.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve individual and team revenue targets.
  • Leverage networks, industry events, and online platforms to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to address their business objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, proposals, and project updates.

Solution Selling:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including linguists, project managers, and technical experts, to design and present customized solutions.
  • Communicate the value of translation and localization services, emphasizing ROI and business impact.

Market Research and Insights:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
  • Provide market feedback to internal teams to enhance service offerings and address client needs effectively.

Performance Tracking:

  • Monitor and report on sales metrics, including lead conversion rates, revenue growth, and client satisfaction.
  • Use CRM tools to manage accounts, track sales activities, and ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the translation and localization industry.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process, including prospecting, lead qualification, and closing deals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with translation and localization technologies (e.g., CAT tools, TMS) is a plus.
  • Multilingual proficiency is an advantage.
