Sailpoint DevOPS Engineer

Teamware Solutions is seeking a skilled Sailpoint DevOPS Engineer to drive the automation and operational excellence of our SailPoint Identity Governance solutions. This crucial role involves working with relevant technologies, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment and management of SailPoint environments, and contributing significantly to business objectives by leveraging DevOps principles for analysis, development, implementation, and troubleshooting within the Sailpoint DevOPS domain.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines specifically for SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow deployments, ensuring automated testing, build, and release processes.
• Automation Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using languages like Python, PowerShell, Groovy, or BeanShell to automate SailPoint installations, configurations, upgrades, patching, and routine administrative tasks.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure for SailPoint environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation/ARM templates.
• Configuration Management: Automate the configuration management of SailPoint components and related infrastructure to ensure consistency and repeatability across environments.
• Monitoring & Alerting: Configure and manage monitoring solutions for SailPoint applications and underlying infrastructure, defining alerts and dashboards to ensure proactive issue detection and performance optimization.
• Deployment & Release Management: Orchestrate and manage automated deployments of SailPoint solutions across various environments (Dev, QA, Prod), ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transitions.
• Troubleshooting: Perform in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex issues related to SailPoint deployments, performance, and operational stability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with SailPoint developers, architects, security teams, and operations teams to integrate DevOps practices into the entire Identity Governance lifecycle.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks for Sai lPoint environments.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• DevOps Principles: Strong understanding and practical experience with core DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automation best practices.
• SailPoint Expertise: Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or SailPoint IdentityNow, including knowledge of its architecture, components, and configuration.
• Scripting Proficiency: Proficient in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Groovy/BeanShell) for automation and integration.
• CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Configuration Management/IaC: Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and/or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Cloud Platforms (Plus): Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Identity & Access Management (IAM): Basic understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and security principles.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to automating and optimizing operations.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Relevant DevOps or SailPoint certifications are a plus.
