Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • SailPoint Solution Development:
  • Develop, configure, and customize SailPoint IdentityNow or IdentityIQ applications based on business requirements.
  • Implement SailPoint workflows, identity management, access control policies, and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Create, configure, and implement Identity Governance solutions including certification campaigns, access requests, and roles management.
  • Integrate SailPoint solutions with other enterprise applications such as Active Directory, SAP, ServiceNow, and other third-party systems.
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM):
  • Configure and develop IAM solutions with Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Federated Identity Management.
  • Implement access provisioning and deprovisioning processes, ensuring users have the appropriate access to systems and applications.
  • Work with business teams to understand IAM requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements for user access management.
  • Customizations and Integrations:
  • Customize and extend SailPoint out-of-the-box functionality using Java and BeanShell scripts.
  • Develop connectors for external systems, applications, and databases to support identity synchronization and access controls.
  • Integrate SailPoint IdentityNow with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and on-premise enterprise applications.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
  • Monitor and manage SailPoint environments to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues related to identity synchronization, access requests, or other IAM functions.
  • Implement logging, error handling, and automated alerts to track system behavior and performance.
  • Testing and Documentation:
  • Perform unit testing and integration testing of SailPoint workflows and configurations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop technical and end-user documentation related to SailPoint configurations, processes, and solutions.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure IAM processes meet quality standards.
  • Support and Maintenance:
  • Provide technical support for SailPoint systems, resolve incidents and requests raised by internal teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SailPoint-related issues in collaboration with other internal IT teams (e.g., infrastructure, security).
  • Maintain and update SailPoint solutions in line with new features and patches.
  • Continuous Improvement and Best Practices:
  • Suggest and implement improvements in identity governance and access management processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest SailPoint features, best practices, and industry trends in identity and access management.
  • Participate in security audits and ensure that IAM systems comply with regulatory and security requirements.
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) or SailPoint IdentityNow.
  • Strong experience with Java, JSP, BeanShell, and other scripting languages for customizing SailPoint workflows and integrations.
  • Good understanding of IAM processes including provisioning, deprovisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), access certifications, and audit workflows.
  • Experience integrating SailPoint with Active Directory, LDAP, SAP, ServiceNow, and other systems using SailPoint connectors.
  • Strong knowledge of identity governance and security principles such as SSO, MFA, federated identity, and SAML.
  • Understanding of security standards like ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2, and how they apply to IAM.
  • Familiarity with cloud IAM solutions (e.g., Azure AD, AWS IAM, Okta) is a plus.
