Safety Officer

• Conduct safety audits at warehouses, identify risks, and report findings to General Management, ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain fire hydrant systems, conduct regular mock drills, and ensure daily safety briefings.
• Check and review safety documents and processes to ensure SOPs are maintained and effectively implemented.
• Handle deviations found in audits, support CAPA implementation, and monitor closure with evidence.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, assist in ISO process documentation, and implement quality management systems.
• Develop and deliver training modules to employees on 5S, HIRA, and safety practices to raise awareness.
• Analyze accidents and incidents, propose corrective actions, track resolution, and increase risk management awareness.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external safety audits, ensuring high standards and continuous improvement.
• Ensure proper identification, maintenance, and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across sites.
• Track and report HSE KPIs including safety performance, energy usage, and compliance, promoting continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Graduate in science or engineering discipline.
• Diploma in Industrial Safety Management from a recognized institute/university.
• Lead Auditor Course in ISO 45001 (OHSAS) and ISO 14001.
• Certified in Root Cause Analysis/Corrective Actions (RCA/CA).
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel interstate.
• Availability to work beyond standard hours if required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in logistics and supply chain industry.
