SAC Developer

We are seeking a proactive SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) Developer to be the primary point of contact for a specific business unit's reporting requirements. This role involves front-end data development, creating dashboards, and working collaboratively within a global data governance team to simplify and improve data access.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for a specific business unit regarding all reporting requirements.
• Own front-end data development and continuously improve data quality and access.
• Proactively develop and drive reporting strategies, including implementation.
• Define business requirements and recommend solutions in the form of features/epics and user stories.
• Identify and manage data sources, including SAP BW and BW4/HANA.
• Develop dashboards using data visualization tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI.
• Perform data source mapping and ensure the expected flow of data from back-end to front-end, in cooperation with IT developers.
• Participate in global and regional information management meetings to align on priorities and improvements.
• Ask the right questions to drive innovation, simplification, and reduce complexity.

Skills Required

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Technology/Data Science; a Master's is preferred.
• Experience in reporting, ideally in an international environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud/Power BI (SAP Analytics Cloud is preferred).
• Working experience with BexQuery Designer, Eclipse Query Designer, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Preferred experience with SAP Application Designer/Lumira/SAP Design Studio/SAP BW.
• Knowledge of SQL, VBA, R/Python programming is beneficial.
• High learning agility, with strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently, precisely, and with a high output quality.
• A structured working approach with a keen eye for details and an aptitude for working with data in an agile environment.
• A strong storytelling skills and visual understanding to effectively present data.
