S4 HANA ABAP + CDS and RAP and BTP

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom applications using S/4HANA ABAP with a focus on CDS views and RAP model.
• Design and implement end-to-end Fiori apps leveraging CDS, OData, and RAP.
• Create reusable data models using Core Data Services for performance-optimized reporting and transactional applications.
• Collaborate with functional and UI/UX teams to deliver high-quality solutions integrated with the SAP ecosystem.
• Ensure adherence to SAP S/4HANA clean core and extensibility best practices.
• Contribute to development and deployment on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) (good to have).
• Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and technical documentation.
• Support UAT, bug fixes, and enhancements as per user/business feedback.

Required Skills:

• 5–8 years of overall experience in SAP ABAP.
• Strong hands-on experience with S/4HANA ABAP and CDS views.
• Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).
• Solid understanding of OData services, annotations, and integration with Fiori apps.
• Good knowledge of SAP extensibility options (in-app, side-by-side).
• Familiarity with modern SAP development tools (ADT in Eclipse, Git, etc.).

Good to Have:

• Exposure to SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
• Experience with CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).
• Understanding of SAP Fiori Elements, SAPUI5, and related UX concepts.
• SAP Certification in ABAP or S/4HANA development.
