RoR Engineer

iSource Services is hiring for one of their client for the position of RoR Engineer

Notice Period: Immediate

About the Role -

An RoR Engineer is responsible for maintaining all the applications i.e. the primary back-end application API, the order admin tool, the eCommerce application based on Solidus, and various supporting services which are used by our fulfilment partners, web and mobile customer facing applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Primary technology: Ruby on Rails
• Monitoring #escalated-support and #consumer-eng slack channels and addressing any issues that require technical assistance.
• Monitoring logs (via rollbar / datadog) and resolving any errors.
• Monitoring Sidekiqs job morgue and addressing any dead jobs.
• Maintaining libraries in all applications with security updates.
• Security requirements and scope understanding.
• Must have knowledge of database like MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite.
• Good knowledge of deployment of application on server.

7 years in ROR and 3 Years in Angular JS.
