Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
  • Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Promote optimum staff performance through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary action.
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances.
  • Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and existing customers.
  • Ensure availability of merchandise and services by approving vendor contracts.
  • Formulate pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities and authorizing clearance sales and promotions.
  • Market merchandise effectively through advertising, sales promotion, and display plans.
  • Secure merchandise by implementing and monitoring loss prevention and security systems.
  • Protect employees and customers by maintaining a safe and clean store environment.
  • Ensure legal compliance to maintain store reputation and stability.
  • Determine and implement marketing strategy changes by analyzing financial and sales performance reports.
  • Lead store operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational procedures and standards.
