Research and Development (R&D) Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new refrigeration products and systems for retail (commercial) and industrial applications.
• Perform thermodynamic, energy, and economic analysis of components and systems, including CO2 and hydrocarbon refrigeration systems.
• Apply system modeling techniques for thermal systems.
• Collaborate with component vendors and internal engineering teams to improve existing designs.
• Support the New Product Development (NPD) team with design, testing, launch, and productivity projects.
• Conduct detailed investigations of refrigeration systems, components, and display cases.
• Establish and share best practices within the R&D group.
• Facilitate technology transfer of developed products and systems to other departments.
• Design, program, and use data acquisition systems; work with controls and PLC programming where required.
