Rescue Solution Engineer

• Architect and design resilient production solutions with a focus on disaster recovery.

• Lead the delivery of complex disaster recovery (DR) testing services and recovery solutions.

• Analyze technical documentation to identify gaps and risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Provide deep expertise and technical leadership across operating systems, backup & recovery, virtualization, storage, and database platforms.

• Design and implement OS recovery strategies for Solaris, HP‑UX, AIX, Linux, Windows, VMware, AS400, Mainframe environments.

• Develop backup and recovery solutions using technologies like Tivoli Storage Manager, NetBackup, Commvault, Data Domain, Backup Exec, and Networker.

• Manage virtualization solutions including VMware ESX, Microsoft Hyper‑V, Xen, and related platforms.

• Support application recovery for enterprise systems such as MS Exchange, SAP, Oracle Apps, and SharePoint.

• Implement high‑availability solutions including clustering, RAC (Real Application Cluster) and storage replication technologies.

• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to recover DNS, Active Directory, and other directory services.

• Provide leadership in multi‑tier application architecture, ensuring best practices for database and application recovery.
