Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound calls, chats, and web leads from US customers generated via meta search platforms.
- Sell international flight tickets (mostly to/from the US), travel insurance, and other related services.
- Understand customer travel needs, provide competitive itineraries, and convert leads into confirmed bookings.
- Use GDS systems (Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo) to check fares, availability, and process bookings.
- Achieve daily/monthly sales targets and maximize revenue per sale.
- Upsell additional services such as baggage, seat selection, insurance, and hotel bookings.
- Follow quality standards, maintain compliance, and provide a positive customer experience.
- Manage post-sales queries including date changes, cancellations, and refund requests.
- Stay updated on airline policies, fare rules, promotions, and industry changes.
Requirements:
- 1 to 6 years of experience in US travel sales, preferably with exposure to meta search campaigns.
- Proficiency in using GDS systems (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo).
- Strong communication skills in English with a neutral or US accent.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to handle high call volume and quick turnarounds.
- Comfortable working night shifts (US timings).
- Good knowledge of fare structures, airline rules, and international destinations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with leads from platforms like Google Flights, Kayak, Skyscanner, or Momondo.
- Exposure to working in OTA (Online Travel Agency) environments.
- Familiarity with travel CRM and booking tools.
- Knowledge of airline consolidator fares and contracts.
