Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls, chats, and web leads from US customers generated via meta search platforms.
  • Sell international flight tickets (mostly to/from the US), travel insurance, and other related services.
  • Understand customer travel needs, provide competitive itineraries, and convert leads into confirmed bookings.
  • Use GDS systems (Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo) to check fares, availability, and process bookings.
  • Achieve daily/monthly sales targets and maximize revenue per sale.
  • Upsell additional services such as baggage, seat selection, insurance, and hotel bookings.
  • Follow quality standards, maintain compliance, and provide a positive customer experience.
  • Manage post-sales queries including date changes, cancellations, and refund requests.
  • Stay updated on airline policies, fare rules, promotions, and industry changes.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 6 years of experience in US travel sales, preferably with exposure to meta search campaigns.
  • Proficiency in using GDS systems (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo).
  • Strong communication skills in English with a neutral or US accent.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to handle high call volume and quick turnarounds.
  • Comfortable working night shifts (US timings).
  • Good knowledge of fare structures, airline rules, and international destinations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with leads from platforms like Google Flights, Kayak, Skyscanner, or Momondo.
  • Exposure to working in OTA (Online Travel Agency) environments.
  • Familiarity with travel CRM and booking tools.
  • Knowledge of airline consolidator fares and contracts.
