Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Relationship Manager – Mutual Fund Sales to acquire, manage, and grow relationships with retail and HNI clients. The role involves promoting mutual fund products, achieving sales targets, and delivering superior customer service while ensuring regulatory compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Acquisition & Business Development

● Identify and acquire new clients through cold calling, referrals, networking, and digital leads.

● Promote and sell mutual fund schemes based on client risk profiles and financial goals.

● Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

2. Relationship Management

● Build and maintain long-term relationships with retail and HNI clients.

● Conduct regular portfolio reviews and recommend suitable investment strategies.

● Address client queries, concerns, and service requests promptly.

3. Advisory & Financial Planning

● Understand client financial needs (retirement, tax planning, wealth creation, etc.).

● Recommend appropriate mutual fund products (Equity, Debt, Hybrid, SIPs, ELSS,

etc.).

● Educate clients on market trends and investment opportunities.

4. Compliance & Documentation

● Ensure proper KYC documentation and regulatory compliance.

● Maintain accurate client records and transaction documentation.

● Adhere to company policies and financial regulations (e.g., AMFI guidelines).

5. Cross-Selling & Revenue Growth

● Cross-sell other financial products (Insurance, PMS, Bonds, etc.) where applicable.

● Increase AUM (Assets Under Management) and revenue per client.

Qualifications & Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, or related field.

● AMFI/NISM certification (mandatory).

● 4–6 years of experience in mutual fund sales or financial services.

● Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

● Good knowledge of capital markets and mutual fund products.
