Registrar Critical Care Medicine

Role Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including diagnosing and treating conditions like respiratory failure, sepsis, and cardiac emergencies.
2. Conduct thorough medical assessments, formulating diagnoses and treatment plans based on patient history and diagnostic tests.
3. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and life support measures.
4. Perform and supervise invasive medical procedures like intubation, ventilator management, and central line placements.
5. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

1. Graduate or postgraduate degree in relevant medical fields.
2. Expertise in critical care, including ICU management and invasive procedures.
3. Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations and lead rapid response teams.
4. Strong communication skills for patient family interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration.
