Job Description

A Regional Sales Manager for Business Banking is responsible for achieving regional sales targets, managing a team of sales professionals, and driving the bank's business banking strategy in their assigned territory. Key duties include developing and implementing sales plans, managing product mix and yields, monitoring portfolio quality, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations. Essential qualifications include leadership skills, strong analytical abilities, and experience in managing sales teams and banking products like CASA (Current Account Savings Account). 

Key responsibilities

  • Sales and performance: Achieve and exceed sales targets for various business banking products, such as CASA, loans, and digital services.
  • Team management: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of area sales managers and relationship managers to meet their individual goals.
  • Strategy and planning: Develop and execute regional sales plans, promotions, and contests in line with overall business objectives.
  • Portfolio and collections: Manage the regional portfolio, drive new customer acquisition, and ensure the collection of delinquent accounts.
  • Market analysis: Evaluate market trends, gather competitive information, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Stakeholder management: Collaborate with internal departments like product, credit, and operations, and manage relationships with other stakeholders.
  • Compliance and reporting: Ensure all sales activities comply with banking laws and regulations, and maintain accurate sales reports.
