Plan and prepare proposals and reports for new and ongoing medical and clinical activities
Initiate and review proposals related to medical or health benefit programs
Engage at senior levels with national and regional health authorities on medical matters
Provide scientific input for protocol feasibility assessments in clinical trial proposals
Support the selection and design of clinical trials as part of cross-functional medical teams
Manage Investigator Initiated Research (IIRs) and maintain auditable documentation in line with company SOPs
Act as a clinical leader within the organization or agency
Monitor current medical trends, clinical experiences, and treatment approaches
Identify unmet medical needs and develop plans with partner organizations to address service gaps
Develop and contribute to long-term medical and clinical strategic plans
Advise the CEO and Vice President on medical and clinical aspects of programs
Participate in discussions with the Medical Advisory Group on clinical direction and strategy
Review and discuss clinical outcomes related to medical research activities
Analyze clinical research data to support evidence-based decision-making
Apply appropriate medical strategies to build positive data or manage adverse medical publicity
