Job Description
A Recruitment Specialist identifies, attracts, and screens candidates for open positions by developing and executing recruitment strategies, which includes sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and collaborating with hiring managers. They are responsible for managing the end-to-end hiring process, from creating job descriptions and posting ads to making offers and assisting with onboarding.
Key responsibilities
- Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Sourcing and Advertising: Post job openings on job boards, social media, and other platforms to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Screening and Interviewing: Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and perform in-person interviews to evaluate candidates and create a shortlist.
- Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and set qualification criteria for roles.
- Process Management: Manage the hiring process from start to finish, including coordinating interviews, extending job offers, and negotiating salaries.
- Onboarding: Coordinate onboarding activities and assist with orientation for new hires.
- Record Keeping: Maintain a database of potential candidates for future openings and keep accurate records of the recruitment process.
- Reporting and Metrics: Track hiring metrics like time-to-hire and provide reports on recruitment progress.
