Job Description

The Medical Receptionist will manage patient interactions, support doctors and staff, and ensure smooth operations at the medical facility while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Greeting & Assistance: Welcome and attend to patients both in person and over the phone.
  • Doctor & Staff Support: Professionally assist doctors, staff, and visitors in daily activities.
  • Appointment Management: Schedule appointments between doctors and patients efficiently.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain business inventory, including supplies and equipment scheduling.
  • Phone Handling: Answer all phone calls professionally and courteously.
  • HIPAA Compliance: Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient, staff, and doctor information.
  • Department Coordination: Liaise between medical departments with discretion and professionalism.
  • Policy Adherence: Follow clinic policies and procedures during all activities.
  • Patient Admission & Treatment Assistance: Assist with patient admissions and treatment processes as per established protocols.
