Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled Contentful CMS Developer with a strong background in building CMS backend features and a comprehensive understanding of the entire system architecture
• As a Contentful CMS Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the backend functionalities of our Contentful CMS

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend features for the Contentful CMS.
• Implement custom solutions to meet specific content management requirements.
• Possess a deep understanding of the Contentful CMS architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of backend development with overall system architecture.
• Design and implement effective content models within Contentful to optimize content creation, storage, and retrieval.
• Integrate Contentful with other systems and platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
• Identify and implement performance optimizations for the CMS backend to ensure optimal speed and responsiveness.
• Conduct thorough testing of backend features to ensure functionality, security, and reliability.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for backend features, APIs, and system architecture.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Contentful CMS Developer with a focus on backend development.
• In-depth knowledge of Contentful CMS architecture and content modeling.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Node.js, and experience with Contentfuls APIs. (For frontend developers)
