R2R with Accounting with R2A Record PL Engagemt

Key Responsibilities:

R2R / R2A Process Ownership:

• Manage the end-to-end R2R and R2A processes, including journal entries, ledger accounting, reconciliations, and intercompany postings.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
• Oversee profit and loss (P&L) analysis, accruals, and variance reporting.

P&L Engagement:

• Drive engagement with business units to understand and validate P&L performance.
• Review and challenge key financial metrics and variances with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with FP&A and operational teams to align reporting with actuals and forecasts.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline accounting processes.
• Support implementation of digital tools (e.g., SAP, BlackLine, Anaplan, or Power BI) to enhance R2R/R2A performance.
• Ensure strong internal controls and documentation for audit readiness.

Stakeholder Management:

• Liaise with shared services, finance business partners, and auditors.
• Support global standardization of accounting practices and process harmonization.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on P&L insights and recommendations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CMA/CPA preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in Record to Report (R2R) and Record to Analyze (R2A) processes.
• Strong command of P&L structure, reporting, and financial accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and financial close tools (BlackLine, Trintech, etc.).
• Proficient in Excel, and experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Services.
• Exposure to digital transformation or automation initiatives in finance.
• Knowledge of intercompany accounting and consolidation processes.
