Quantity Surveyor Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all QS functions across the project lifecycle from pre-construction to post-completion.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documentation.
• Evaluate contractor bids and assist in contract negotiations.
• Monitor project budgets, track variations, and ensure cost control.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and validate contractor claims.
• Administer contracts and manage change orders, claims, and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and execution teams to ensure alignment on cost and scope.
• Prepare periodic cost reports and forecasts for client and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and project specifications.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 8–15 years of relevant experience in QS roles, preferably in PMC setups.
• Strong knowledge of institutional construction projects and government norms.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, CostX, MS Excel).
• Excellent understanding of contract law, FIDIC, and local tendering procedures.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in large-scale institutional or government projects.
• Familiarity with local construction practices and regulatory frameworks in Uttar Pradesh.
• PMP or RICS certification is a plus.
