Quality Support Professional
Job Description
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on product quality and delivery requirements
• Perform FAI (First Article Inspection) and supplier document verification
• Manage Supplier Quality Notifications (SQN) and monitor supplier performance
• Lead CAPA and SCAR management, including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification
• Drive APQP / PPAP activities with suppliers
• Monitor and improve key supplier KPIs: On-Time Delivery (OTD), DPMO (Defects Per Million Opportunities), COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality)
• Investigate supplier non-conformances and implement corrective/preventive actions
• Maintain accurate documentation for audits and compliance
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and suppliers to ensure contractual and quality compliance
