• Test Planning : Study new requirements of testing ( arising out of new product, amendment in standard, special testing etc.) & plan necessary testing infrastructure & implement (make investment
• proposal, define purchasing specifications, initiate procurement & further installation-commissioning of new equipment)
• Be fully conversant with testing standard, setting test methods-procedures for motor testing as per IS/IEC , adapt the changes.& implement the same.
• Execute the calibration program for all electrical, mechanical instruments in test center
• Perform routine test, type test, & special test i.e. Noise & Vibration Spectrum Test, Tan Delta-Partial Discharge Test, on low & high voltage motor as per relevant IS IEC Standard.
• System testing of motors: Analyze-Plan System Testing ( Combine testing of Low & High voltage drive & motor). Study the specifications of drive & motor, align with respective stakeholder to
• Gather necessary inputs & execute test.
• Execute customer inspections independently which includes conducting test, doing test documentation, analyze results, resolve customer queries & conclude inspection through formal MOM
• Participate in new product development process through prototype/investigative testing
• Maintenance of various test setup equipments such electric panels, motor, generator, transformer, instrumentation.
• Carryout advanced trouble shooting of test setup involving drives-plc-motors-generator-transformer
• Advance knowledge in the area of IT test setup of any test bench is preferred e.g. Establishing communication between instruments, fetching & processing data etc.
• Follow all safety procedures & strict adherence to EHS Guidelines.
• Familiar with QMS : ISO 9001 & should be able to follow the quality system
• Experience of testing flameproof motor 1Ex is is preferred
• Responsible for identifying competency gaps, planning-executing competency development of testing team.
• Should have good communication skills
• Person should have good interpersonal skills & good team player. Ensures effective cooperation with both, internal and external stakeholders; clarifies issues.
• Keeps abreast of industry trends pertaining to testing area

Qualification & Experience :

Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electrical & Powers System, Electronics engineering

Minimum 10 years of Industrial Experience
