Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify materials and mill test certificates during IMIR clearance to ensure compliance with code and company standards
• Conduct welding procedure qualification tests and maintain procedure qualification records (PQR) for structural, tank, and piping works
• Prepare Welding Procedure Specifications and conduct qualification tests as per site requirements
• Verify welding consumables (BTCs) and conduct necessary qualification tests at site
• Prepare job procedures and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for structural, piping, and tank works
• Perform periodical site internal audits
• Visually inspect fit-ups and welded joints for structural, tank, and piping works
• Conduct surveillance checks before, during, and after welding processes
• Execute all Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections and maintain detailed inspection records
• Coordinate with the customer for daily inspection activities
• Prepare and review piping test packages, verify site work, and address pending punch points
• Provide NDT clearance for piping test packs
• Witness hydrotests for tank and piping systems
