Quality Control and Testing Engineer (Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control

• Implement and enforce quality standards for incoming materials and finished goods.
• Conduct inspection at various stages of production.
• Generate QC reports, highlight issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Implementation of process capability analysis such as interpreting Cp and Cpk.

Testing

• Independently run tests based on SOPs defined and troubleshoot.
• Develop test modules/procedures to check functionality of assemblies (e.g., using Load cells, Dial indicators, LVDTs).

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Mechatronics Engineering.
• 48 years of experience in quality control/test role, preferably in robotics, automotive, machinery, or precision manufacturing.
• Good understanding of different types of inspection gauges and their working principles.
• Good understanding of Measurement System Analysis (Gage R&R).
• Good knowledge of interpreting CAD drawings and GD&T.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
