Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Description
Key Accountabilities
Receiving Inspection:
1 Performs set-up of gauges, maintains all measuring equipments in excellent working condition.
2 Inspect to verify dimensions, including tolerances delineated on the drawing, adequate process control with procedures, standards, shop practices and workmanship including finish, tightness, burrs, cleanliness, and general ap-appearance
3 Updates the status of the inspection requirements in the SAP system / MES system for the next stage of operations.
4 Follow and adhere to inspection procedures, generate NCR forms whenever applicable.
5 Maintain and track calibration of all measuring equipments.
6 Keep track of Quality Matrix, SPC for the incoming product quality and report the same to relevant function heads.
7 Follow and manage ISO 19001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 certifications requirements.
Asphalt Coating Process:
1 Develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures for asphalt coating
2 Monitor and inspect asphalt coating processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
3 Conduct laboratory and field tests to evaluate the quality and performance of asphalt materials.
4 Identify and document any quality issues or defects in asphalt coatings.
5 Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize asphalt coating processes.
Educational Qualification:
Must: Diploma Mechanical Engineering Desirable
- Basic knowledge of 7QC Tools
- Basic knowledge of working in SAP.
Relevant Experience:
Must: • Minimum 05 Years relevant experience
Ability to handle precision component inspection.
Desirable:
Ammunition or related industry experience.
Knowledge of paint quality inspection
