Job Description

Technical Skills:

Mandatory

  • Design, develop, and maintain Qlik Sense applications, dashboards, and reports to meet business requirements and enhance data visualization capabilities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and data models.
  • Implement best practices for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity within Qlik Sense applications.
  • Optimize and fine-tune Qlik Sense applications for performance and scalability, identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks.
  • Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business users to understand data sources, data structures, and business processes, ensuring alignment with analytics requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on Qlik Sense features, functionality, and capabilities, contributing to the continuous improvement of data visualization solutions.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of Qlik Sense applications to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Good knowledge and experience in any database (Teradata, Data Lake, Oracle, or SQL Server).

Planning & Architecture (20%)

Story time, stand-up, sprint demo, and retrospective. Your job is to ensure that all stories are good enough for delivery, that what is committed in the sprint by the team is delivered by sprint end with all tests and quality required. You also have a critical role in ensuring that we always rethink and improve our Architecture.

Story Implementation (70%)

Implement stories created by the Product Management team. You mainly work with Qlik Sense to build expected reports. When necessary, you modify and enrich our data warehouse. Some projects require developing specific surveys and related dashboards. You use Form.io to design these surveys.

Maintenance (10%)

  • Bug fixing is part of regular maintenance activity. We put a strong focus on quality and ensure that we never have more than 10 bugs in our backlog. Major issues are managed as hotfixes and published ASAP on production.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working directly with clients

Preferred

  • Experience working with French clients.
  • Experience in source control systems such as Git and Azure DevOps CI/CD.

Process Skills:

  • Directly responsible for estimations, design, and development of applications.
  • Establish and enforce development standards and guidelines.
  • Knowledge in executing the project in Azure DevOps (Agile Scrum).

Behavioural Skills:

  • Strong communication skills to facilitate discussions with team members, end clients, and senior business leaders.
  • Strong executive presence and high energy to drive organizational goals.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively across diverse technical and business teams.
