QA/QC Engineer – Residential Building

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer with 5+ years of experience in residential building construction. The candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures, ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications, standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection checklists for residential construction projects.
• Monitor and inspect civil works including foundation, concrete, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing, and structural works.
• Ensure all materials and workmanship meet project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections, quality audits, and testing to verify compliance with approved standards.
• Review and approve method statements, material submittals, and inspection test plans (ITP).
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and consultants to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation, reports, inspection records, and test results.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, project specifications, and safety standards.
• Identify non-conformance issues (NCR) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of QA/QC experience in residential building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, testing procedures, and quality standards.
• Experience with inspection procedures, quality documentation, and site coordination.
• Familiarity with IS codes, construction quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with high-rise residential projects.
• Knowledge of concrete testing, material testing, and finishing quality checks.
• Certification in quality management or construction quality control is an advantage
