QA Test Engineer

Role and Responsibilities

• Test games and applications on Android and iOS platforms to ensure functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with QA Engineers and QA Lead to develop effective testing strategies and test plans.
• Identify, isolate, and report bugs with clear and detailed reproduction steps.
• Document bugs in Jira and Google Spreadsheets accurately and consistently.
• Perform various testing types including Functionality, Compatibility, Exploratory, Usability, and Regression testing.
• Respect testing schedules, deadlines, and team workflows.
• Learn and adhere to internal systems, processes, and tools.
• Suggest improvements to testing processes and provide constructive feedback to the QA Lead.
• Share daily status reports with the QA Lead.

Background and Experience

• 2–3 years of experience in mobile game testing (Android and iOS).
• Experience working in a team of testers, collaborating on shared tasks and goals.
• Proficient in writing and executing test cases based on documented requirements and feedback.
• Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for spotting issues and inconsistencies.
• Ability to detect patterns, explore diverse user paths, and define hard-to-reproduce bugs.
• Passion for playing games and a strong interest in the gaming industry.
