QA Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Document software defects using issue-tracking tools like Jira.
• Own project-level testing scope and delivery for eCommerce and enterprise applications.
• Perform story-level manual testing as part of daily activities.
• Identify opportunities for automating repetitive tasks and automable scenarios.
• Establish and perform acceptance, functional, security, regression, stress, and cross-platform tests.
• Develop and execute automated testing techniques and scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, NUnit, Junit, MTAF.
• Assist in developing detailed requirements and work with engineering to determine QA provisions for product quality.
• Prepare appropriate documentation before and after testing, including testing summaries and detailed test reports.
• Test multiple platforms and browsers for full or acceptable compatibility.
• Report defects and results using appropriate testing tools.
• Actively participate in all stages of web development, from requirements gathering through deployment and live testing.
• Plan and execute test strategies and recommend improvements in existing processes.
• Mentor junior QA team members to improve quality testing and effective automation.

Qualifications and Required Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 8-12 years of Software QA and testing experience in eCommerce platforms like Sitecore and other enterprise applications etc.
• Expert knowledge of QA standards, processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Extensive experience in creating and executing manual testing.
• Extensive experience in Automation testing tools like Selenium, Playwright etc.
• Extensive Experience in developing and improvising Automation Testing framework.
• Exposure to Behavioral and Unit testing tools like Cucumber, NUnit, Junit, MTAF etc.
• Experience in the creation and maintenance of automated acceptance test scripts.
• Experience with Quality processes in Agile/Scrum Development Model
